Race organizers encourage early start times for optimal performance and ranking opportunities; however, participants are free to begin their journey anytime after 7:00 AM until the cutoff time at 16:00 PM. Those who embark on their trek later in the afternoon will not be eligible for official race rankings but can still enjoy the scenic route and personal achievement.
