PECO XC Junior League 2026-27 Race 3

The PECO Junior Cross Country League offers young athletes across Leeds and its surroundings an exciting series of five cross country races designed to foster athletic growth and camaraderie among junior runners. The league caters specifically to those aged under 16, with separate race categories for different age groups.
For juniors who are under 11 years old as of September 1, 2026 (typically in school years 2 through 6), the races begin at 10:00 AM and cover a distance of approximately one mile. Meanwhile, those aged 11 or over but still under 16 on the same date (usually in school years 7 to 11) will take part in a two-mile race starting promptly at 10:20 AM.
Participants can secure their spot for all five races through an affordable season ticket available exclusively online. This £8 package not only grants entry into each of the remaining four races but also includes access to the end-of-season relays and prize presentation ceremony, providing a comprehensive experience throughout the league's duration. Once registered with this option, runners needn't register again for any subsequent race days; they simply show up at Race HQ with their season ticket number.
Alternatively, interested participants can choose to enter each individual race on the day of the event for £4 per race. However, it is important to note that season tickets cannot be purchased on-site and must be acquired in advance online only.
All entrants will receive a unique race bib embedded with an electronic timing chip, which they are required to keep throughout the entire league period. Should any number become lost or damaged during this time, replacements can be obtained at Race HQ for £2.50 per replacement.
