Pathfinder 2026 Eleventh Daidun Mountain Trail Race (拓路者2026第十一届戴村山地越野赛)

The 11th Daidun Mountain Trail Race, an iconic mountain trail running event, returns on November 14, 2026, at the scenic Sanqing Garden in Daicun Village, Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou. This year's edition offers three distinct routes: a full marathon distance of 37 kilometers, a half-marathon spanning 22 kilometers, and an introductory experience course covering 16 kilometers.
The race starts promptly at 8:00 AM with staggered start times for each category to ensure smooth flow throughout the challenging terrain. Participants are encouraged to sign up early as spots fill quickly on a first-come-first-served basis.
For those tackling the full marathon, they will face an approximately 39-kilometer course that includes over 2160 meters of elevation gain and loss within a nine-hour time limit. The half-marathon route features about 24 kilometers with around 1360 meters in total ascent and descent, allowing runners to complete the challenging yet rewarding journey within six hours.
The introductory experience route offers an engaging adventure over nearly 18 kilometers, encompassing roughly 1193 meters of elevation changes across a four-hour window. Each course is designed not only for endurance but also to highlight the serene beauty and historical charm of Daicun Village.
Competitors will traverse established national fitness trails that wind through "Xiaoshan Sky Road," connecting landmarks such as Yunmen Ancient Path, Shiniu Mountain Ridge, Shipudao Hill, and Sanqing Temple. The terrain varies from steep climbs and rugged forest paths to well-worn village routes lined with bamboo groves and tea plantations.
