The 8th Annual Zhenjiang Nan Mountain Trail Race returns to the scenic North Entrance Square of Nan Mountain Scenic Area (near Flower and Bird Market, Zhenjiang) on December 5-6, 2026. This event features four challenging categories: Light Bathing in Glory (8.5K), Soaring Above Clouds (17K), Chasing the Wind (42K), and Pursuing the Sun (28K). The race offers a diverse range of terrains with significant elevation gains, catering to trail runners at various levels.
The Light Bathing in Glory category kicks off on December 5th at 9:30 AM. Runners will cover an 8.5-kilometer route with a total ascent of 218 meters before the race concludes by noon. The Soaring Above Clouds distance, which begins simultaneously, spans 17 kilometers and includes 854 meters of elevation gain across its six-hour window.
The Chasing the Wind category starts early on December 6th at 6:00 AM with a grueling 42-kilometer course that features an impressive climb of 2235 meters. Participants will have until 6 PM to complete this challenging route, which is designed for experienced trail runners.
For those seeking a balance between challenge and accessibility, the Pursuing the Sun category offers a competitive yet manageable option with its 28-kilometer distance and 1304-meter elevation gain. The race begins at 8:00 AM on December 6th and concludes by 4 PM.
