2026 GO Yecheng Community Race · Shocking Seagulls Snow Rolling (2026 GO野社区赛·惊鸥卷雪)

On December 27, 2026, the GO野社区赛·惊鸥卷雪 will take place at Wuxi Baohai Mountain Forest Park, offering runners four distinct distances: 24 kilometers, 16 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and a shorter 6-kilometer option. The race begins at 9:00 AM for the longer courses, while the 6-kilometer route starts half an hour later.
The event is set against the backdrop of Taihu Lake in early winter, when Siberian red-billed gulls arrive en masse to dance across the water's surface with swaying reeds. This poetic scene marks a fitting conclusion for runners and nature lovers alike as they traverse historic paths like the Junchang Ancient Trail.
Participants will encounter varied terrain including rugged trails, stone steps, and rocky sections that challenge even seasoned athletes. The 24-kilometer course features over 980 meters of elevation gain across its length, while shorter routes still offer significant climbs amidst stunning scenery. With breathtaking views of Taihu Lake to the west and panoramic city vistas to the east, runners will be immersed in a blend of natural beauty and urban charm.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so early sign-ups are recommended as spots fill quickly for this picturesque winter event.
