Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally 5K 2026

Race Information

The Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally 5K is held in picturesque Panguitch, Utah the fourth weekend of June. The race is run while hot air balloons are rising into the Southern Utah sky for a truly unique 5K run. Runners begin at the track (390 E 100 S), run through the streets of Panguitch, then loop back to finish at the track. Race day registration is from 6:00 am to 6:45 am.  Medals will be given to the top 10 finishers for both men and women.

A kids race around the track will follow the 5K with no fee to participate!

PHX Alumni / Panguitch Resident Team Race

If you are a PHX alumus or spouse, or if you are a current Panguitch resident, you can form a team and enter the PHX Team Challenge.  Teams consist of at least two men and two women, with a maximum of 7 runners per team and a registration fee of $25 per runner.  The scoring for the team challenge will consist of scoring the top 2 mens finishers and the top 2 womens finishers in relation to other teams in the challenge.  The top two teams will recieve t-shirts (that will be really cool!!), and have PHX bragging rights!
