Paddy Buckley Round (3 Days)

Experience one of Britain's most challenging mountain running adventures on July 27, 2027. The Paddy Buckley Round takes runners through the heart of Northern Snowdonia, covering over 100km with nearly 9,000 meters of ascent and descent across rugged terrain. This grueling loop encompasses 47 peaks in some of Wales' most iconic mountain ranges, including the Moelwyn and Nantle Ridge.
Guided by expert mountaineers who know every twist and turn, participants will tackle up to 40km daily at a steady pace that balances running with necessary walking. Each night concludes back in Capel Curig, where accommodation options range from hotels and hostels to campsites for varied comfort needs.
Though tougher than both the Bob Graham Round in the Lake District and the Ramsey Round in Scotland’s Highlands, seasoned runners who have completed sections of the Welsh 3000 challenge or similar events are encouraged. This event is not just a test of physical endurance but also mental fortitude as you navigate technical terrain under professional supervision.
Limited spots ensure intimate group sizes for an unparalleled experience. Participants can opt to purchase XCover insurance, providing peace of mind with potential refunds due to unforeseen circumstances. Join us in celebrating the beauty and challenge of Northern Snowdonia's peaks on this unforgettable journey.
