Over The Creek and Through the Woods Trail Run

Embark on an exhilarating adventure through the lush landscapes of Pierce Cedar Creek Institute for the Over the Creek and Through the Woods trail run, set to take place on Saturday, October 10th. This scenic race offers runners both a challenging course and breathtaking views as they navigate over babbling creeks and winding trails.
Participants can choose between two distances: a fun-filled one-mile run or an invigorating 5K that winds through the institute's expansive grounds. The event kicks off with packet pickup and late registration starting at 8:00 am, followed by the races beginning promptly at 9:00 am for the mile run and 9:30 am for the 5K.
Located in Hastings, Michigan, Pierce Cedar Creek Institute spans a stunning 850 acres of natural beauty. Runners will experience varied terrain, including gentle hills, leafy trails, and crossings over serene waterways that add an element of challenge to this scenic route.
Early bird registrants who sign up by September 1st can secure their spot at discounted rates: $35 for the adult 5K race (includes a t-shirt), $15 for children under 12 years old, and free entry with a $15 shirt fee for all participants in the fun run. Regular registration opens on September 2nd through October 9th, offering slightly higher fees but still includes shirts if registered by September 15th.
Race day registrations are also available starting at 8:30 am on Saturday, October 10th, though these come with a bit of an increase in cost.
