For 10 years, this family-friendly event has brought our community together for an evening of fun while helping support neighbors in need.
This year, donations from the PB&J Fun Run will benefit Foothills Family Resources and the North Greenville Crisis Ministry, two local organizations serving families throughout northern Greenville County.
We’re also changing things up for our 10th year with a new race format designed to make the event more fun and accessible for the whole family.
Registration is FREE. All PB&J Family Fun Run participants must register. Parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany children in the Toddler Run but should not register for the Toddler Run.
Each registered participant is asked to bring one jar of peanut butter and one jar of jelly or two other approved donation items to support our community partners.
Participation will be limited to:
Our youngest runners will take on a quarter-mile course, with parents or guardians encouraged to run alongside them.
The Toddler Run is limited to 40 registered participants. Parents and guardians are encouraged to run alongside their toddler but should NOT register for the Toddler Run
Choose your own distance on our ½-mile course, completing anywhere from one to four laps for a total of up to 2 miles.
Runners will receive a slap bracelet after each completed lap to help keep track of how far they’ve gone.
Families are encouraged to participate together, but everyone can make the experience their own. Younger children may finish after one or two laps while older siblings and adults continue.
Participants will begin in staggered start groups to give everyone plenty of room on the course.
All registered PB&J Family Fun Run participants will receive a commemorative 10th Anniversary event T-shirt.
The PB&J Family Fun Run is limited to 120 registered participants.
This year isn’t just about who finishes first. We’ll also recognize a few families who help make the 10th Anniversary PB&J Fun Run especially fun:
What does “most spirited” mean? That’s up to you. Matching outfits, signs, costumes, cheering, PB&J gear or anything else that brings some extra energy to the event is fair game.
There is no registration fee.
Instead, each registered participant should donate:
One jar of peanut butter AND one jar of jelly
OR
Any two items from the approved donation categories below:
**Donations should be brought with you on race day.
