Over stok og sten - 24 timer 2026

Step into the ultimate walking challenge on November 21, 2026, where endurance meets scenic beauty at Over Stok og Steen - 24 Hours. This unique event invites participants to push their limits and explore a course that weaves through diverse landscapes around Ejby Hall.
The route consists of four equally long loops covering 5.666 kilometers each, offering runners the opportunity to complete multiple rounds under one roof at Ejby Hall. Each loop is marked clearly for easy navigation both day and night. The terrain varies from grass paths and gravel roads to dirt tracks and asphalt surfaces, with cyclists sharing some sections of the latter.
Participants can tackle a total distance ranging anywhere between 50 kilometers after nine loops or even extend their journey beyond 100 kilometers if they choose. In previous years, unofficial Danish records for both men and women have been shattered during this event, highlighting its potential to inspire extraordinary feats in long-distance walking.
The course itself is enchanting, featuring stretches through forests and wetlands, with elevations adding a gentle challenge over the 94-meter total climb per loop. While most of the route offers well-lit sections under street lamps or cycle path lighting, some areas require participants to carry their own headlamps for night visibility.
This event is not just about distance but also about personal achievement and community spirit as walkers come together to support one another in this remarkable 24-hour walking experience.
