Devon Running Events invites you to join the vibrant and inclusive atmosphere of the 24 Cider Relay Team Challenge, taking place from July 23rd to 25th, 2027. This unique weekend offers a range of running and walking events for all levels of experience, ensuring there's something for everyone. The centerpiece event is the 24-hour team relay challenge on Friday night, starting at 8:00 PM. Teams can consist of up to five members who will take turns running or walking laps around scenic routes through a privately owned farm. The lap point serves as a lively hub where teammates cheer each other on and swap places seamlessly. In addition to the relay event, solo participants have several options: - 24-Hour Solo Challenge: Dive into 24 hours of continuous running or walking at your own pace.
- 12-Hour Night Challenge (Friday): Experience a moonlit night run from 8:00 PM onwards. - 12-Hour Daytime Challenge (Saturday): Start early in the morning on Saturday for an energizing day event, beginning at 8:00 AM. Participants can also enjoy shorter distances throughout the weekend: - A Friday evening 5K-ish race kicks off at 7:00 PM.
- On Sunday, there are three walking events to choose from: - The Bell & Bumble Tad Longer Plod (9:00 AM) - The Bell & Bumble Shorter Plod (9:15 AM) - A longer distance Apple Plod 10K-ish race at 10:30 AM. The farm setting offers a mix of grassy fields, wildflower meadows, and dusty tracks through crop-filled landscapes. All abilities are welcome; whether you complete one lap or multiple laps over the weekend, every participant is celebrated as a finisher with medals and goodies up for grabs at various checkpoints throughout the event. With limited spots available, early registration is encouraged to secure your place in this memorable endurance experience.
