On The Run Half Marathon

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, the On the Run Half Marathon offers runners an unforgettable experience on March 20, 2027. The race kicks off at 9 AM sharp from the Brunswick Hotel located at 39 West Grand Avenue, providing a convenient spot for pre-race preparations and packet pick-up starting at 7:30 AM.
The course itself is meticulously designed to showcase both natural beauty and local charm as it winds through scenic coastal landscapes. Mile markers are clearly marked throughout the route, with water stops strategically placed every two miles beginning from mile 2.5 up until mile 9.5. Runners will also have access to display clocks at the 5K and 10K marks for accurate pacing.
A highlight of this race is the custom finisher's medal awarded to all participants who cross the line, symbolizing their achievement on this challenging yet rewarding course. The first 100 runners receive an additional custom magnet as a special memento from the event.
Race day registration and shirt purchases are not available; however, pre-registering for long sleeve technical shirts by March 3, 2027 ensures that you can enjoy these high-quality items at $15 each. Women should note to size down in unisex options due to fit considerations.
Post-race refreshments include macaroni and cheese as well as salad exclusively for the runners. For family members or friends who wish to join, a cash bar will be available starting from 10:30 AM, offering snacks at $10 per adult and $5 per child on race day.
The event celebrates impressive performances with awards given out to top male and female finishers overall as well as age group champions across various categories. These include the youngest (ages 1-19), teenagers (20-29), adults in their thirties, forties, fifties, sixties, seventies, and up to ninety-nine years old.
