About the Event

Join us for the eleventh edition of the Omloop van Empel on Sunday, June 13, 2027! This beloved community event combines sport and celebration to create an unforgettable day. Whether you're a dedicated runner or prefer a leisurely stroll through nature, everyone is welcome.
This year's offerings include two scenic routes: one at approximately 7.5 kilometers and another stretching about 15 kilometers. These paths wind through the picturesque surroundings of Empel, providing runners with breathtaking views and fresh air to enjoy as they move along.
Participants are encouraged to sign up early—by June 1—to secure a personalized start number that includes your name for recognition from fellow participants throughout the race day. While late registrations will also be accepted until half an hour before the event starts, these won't include names on the numbers.
The official program and detailed route maps can soon be found at www.omloopvanempel.nl along with practical information to help you prepare for your participation.
Have questions? Feel free to reach out via [email protected]. We're also looking for volunteers who want to contribute in various capacities, such as handing out water and sponges or assisting with setup and cleanup at Buurthuis D’n As (Asmunt 3, Empel). Sign up through [email protected].
Stay connected by following us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates. We can't wait to make this a memorable event together!
See you there on June 13!
