Oliebollenloop

Join the festive spirit of running as you celebrate New Year's Eve with the 20th edition of the Oliebollenloop on December 31, 2026. This beloved tradition takes place in Gorredijk and offers a unique blend of competition and camaraderie for runners of all levels. Choose from distances including a 4-mile race or a challenging 10-kilometer course, both winding through the picturesque Dutch countryside. For families and young athletes, there are special kids' runs ranging from 300 meters to 900 meters. The event culminates with an energetic finish line where participants enjoy a traditional oliebol (oil cake) as they ring in the new year together. Whether you're racing for personal bests or simply joining friends and family, this race promises a memorable way to wrap up your running season and kickstart 2027 on a high note. Don't miss out on early bird registration from October to November to receive a free Oliebollen craft shirt with your entry.
