About the Event

Revive a classic racing tradition and rediscover the link between two cities at the Meia Maratona Odivelas-Loures-Odivelas. On Thursday, 24 September 2026, the Municipalities of Loures and Odivelas reunite "Juntos pelo Desporto" (Together for Sport) to bring back a historic half marathon that connected them in the 1980s and 90s. As part of the European Week of Sport, this revival offers a scenic urban route starting and finishing on Rua Humberto Ataíde in Odivelas. Beyond the main 21.1 km race, the festive weekend includes a 10 km run, a 5 km walk, and a special kids' race the day before. Join this special one-day celebration of community, sport, and shared heritage just north of Lisbon.
