Nunspeetse Wolventrail

The Nunspeetse Wolventrail, organized by the Veluwse Vereniging Running Nunspeet, is set to take place on November 21, 2026. This unique trail run offers runners a choice between two distances: 7.5 km and 15 km. Both routes are clearly marked with arrows and tape, winding through diverse landscapes that include singletracks, heathlands, forests, fens, rolling hills, and sand dunes.
The event aims to foster a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where enjoyment takes precedence over competition or speed. The race starts and finishes at the beach pavilion (Zandibar) within the recreational area of Zandenplas. Participants can walk from Nunspeet's NS station to reach the starting point easily, with parking options available near the Veluwetransferium Nunspeet, on Leisurelands/Zandenplas’s own parking lot, and at Sportief Recreatiecentrum De Wiltsangh.
Registration for both distances is possible until November 17, 2026. No late entries will be accepted after this date. Runners are encouraged to pick up their race numbers from Intersport Meijers Dorpstraat in Nunspeet on the evenings of November 19 and 20 or at the event’s registration desk between 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM on race day.
The course includes a single water station, so participants should bring their own hydration systems as no cups will be provided. Both routes are completed in one loop, ensuring that runners experience all of Nunspeet's varied terrain during the event.
