About the event
On December 26, 2026, the city of Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan will host the Novogodnie estafety, an invigorating track meet designed to celebrate strong running traditions. The event features races in short and medium distances, including a popular 1000-meter dash that winds around the stadium's central oval five times.
Participants can choose from several race categories: a solo 1000 meters, a grueling 3000 meters requiring stamina over fifteen laps, or one of three relay events. The relays are split between men and women teams running two 200-meter sprints each. All races take place on the well-maintained track at TSSP im. R. Batalovoy in Ufa.
The venue offers warm indoor facilities for dressing rooms, restrooms, and medical support throughout the day. The atmosphere is lively with music playing as competitors gather early on Saturday morning to start their runs at 10:00 AM sharp. This event promises a memorable experience for runners of all levels who are eager to test themselves against local talent in this festive winter setting.
