On December 12, 2026, the picturesque town of Pornichet will host its annual Solidarity Run and Walk for the Séjour Orphelin Sapeurs-Pompiers de Loire-Atlantique Association. This event aims to raise funds for a meaningful cause while offering participants an enjoyable day out in beautiful surroundings.
The race starts at 17:15 from the sports hall of Pornichet Hippodrome, with two running circuits available—one covering 11 kilometers and another stretching over 15 kilometers. The walk/run event begins shortly after at 17:30 for a leisurely 11-kilometer course that is open to all.
Participants are encouraged to wear reflective vests and carry flashlights as part of the safety measures, with no official timing or competition element involved. This relaxed atmosphere allows runners and walkers alike to focus on enjoying the scenic route through Pornichet's charming landscapes without pressure from race times.
For those interested in participating, online registration via Klikégo.com is mandatory for both running categories; however, walk/run participants can register at any time before December 12th. The entry fee of €11 includes processing fees and guarantees access to the event’s amenities on race day.
