About the Event

The second edition of the Foulées du Béluga, a semi-nocturnal road race featuring a 10km course certified by FFA (French Athletics Federation), promises an exciting evening run through Montoir de Bretagne. The race kicks off on December 5th at Boulevard des Apprentis in Cadréan, just outside the CNI building.
As runners make their way along the scenic route, they will be greeted with illuminated paths and festive decorations leading up to a magical finish line inside the Christmas market at Montoir de Bretagne's sports complex. The race is designed for both experienced athletes and casual participants alike, offering an enchanting atmosphere that blends holiday spirit with athletic competition.
Participants are required to wear reflective gear due to low light conditions during parts of the race. Upon registration, runners have the option to purchase a finisher’s medal as a memorable keepsake from their experience.
For those traveling by car, ample parking is available near the start line at Boulevard des Apprentis. Alternatively, for pedestrians and bus riders, clear signage will direct participants 3km away from the complex or provide information on how to catch the Helyce bus service from La Poste.
A secure locker system will be set up at the starting point where runners can store their belongings during the race; this must be reserved in advance along with your registration and a small bag is recommended. No suitcases are allowed, so please plan accordingly.
Race day packet pickup takes place on December 4th from 4 PM to 6 PM or on December 5th between 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM at the sports complex in Montoir de Bretagne. Gallopades (sprint races) will begin promptly at 2 PM for those interested, with packet pickup starting earlier that day from 1 PM.
Competitors can look forward to a range of prizes including awards for the top three male and female finishers overall as well as special recognition for first place Montoirine (female resident) and Montoirin (male resident). Additionally, there will be accolades presented to the leading companies in attendance based on their team performance.
Registration is exclusively online; no race-day sign-ups are available. This event offers a unique blend of physical challenge and holiday cheer, making it an unforgettable experience for all who participate.
