Athletes will start with a protected swim inside the calm cove beside the SSV Oliver Hazard Perry, followed by a stunning bike ride along the world-famous Ocean Drive. Finish strong with a unique run course that brings you inside the historic walls of Fort Adams and around its beautiful waterfront grounds.

Perfect for both first-timers and seasoned triathletes, this course delivers fast racing, ocean views, and Newport’s unmatched early-summer energy.

Course Overview:

Swim: A sheltered, beginner-friendly swim inside the Fort Adams cove beside the Oliver Hazard Perry tall ship.
Bike: A beautiful and rolling loop on Ocean Drive with nonstop ocean vistas and coastal landmarks.
Run: A scenic and historic tour through Fort Adams State Park, including stretches inside the fort itself.
