The Newport Olympic & Sprint Triathlon is a great event for beginners and triathletes looking to get a fast race.
The Sprint Tri is a 400m swim (16 lengths) 20k superflat bike and 5k flat run
The Olympic is a 800m swim (32 lengths) 40k bike (2 laps) and 10k run (2 laps)
The bike and Run routes are very flat and the Pool is fantastic for Spectators with stadium seating
The venue has a great cafe and small park for little spectators
The First wave starts at 1.15pm so no need for that early start
Transition is very secure and close to the pool exit.

Bag drop is available and the NISV Centre has a Starbucks Cafeteria
The race is chip timed and prizes are awarded for 1/2/3 male & female
Bespoke medals for all finishers
