Newburgh Dunes Running Club - Beach Bash 10k

On March 20, 2027, the Newburgh Dunes Running Club invites runners to experience the Beach Bash 10k race. Starting near Gallows Hill Community Pavilion, this scenic route winds through parts of Forvie National Nature Reserve, offering a diverse terrain that includes pavement, trails, sand dunes, and beach sections.
The event welcomes all levels of runners with an entry fee of £25 (discounted to £22 for Scottish Athletics members). Participants must be at least 15 years old on the day of the race. All finishers will receive a medal and a finisher's pack, while prizes are awarded in various age categories.
The course challenges participants with its varied landscape, providing an exhilarating mix of flat trails and sandy dunes that test endurance and agility. Runners can expect to be immersed in the beauty of Forvie National Nature Reserve, making this race not just about speed but also about enjoying the stunning coastal scenery.
Marshals will ensure safety throughout the route until the Tail Runner passes at a pace no slower than 90 minutes; runners who are passed by the Tail Runner continue at their own risk and do not receive an official time. The Beach Bash promises to be a memorable event for those looking to explore Scotland's picturesque coastlines while pushing personal limits.
