The Nanning Marathon starts 7:30 AM on Sunday, December 20 at Minzu Square, Nanning, Guangxi, with 36,000 runners split between a marathon (42.195km, 12,000 spots) and half marathon (21.0975km, 24,000 spots). The course follows the Yong River for its full length, shaded by subtropical greenery, passing landmarks like Minzu Avenue and Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area. Known among runners for being exceptionally flat -- wide roads, minimal grade, very little elevation gain -- Nanning ranks among the top-tier PB courses in southern China.
