Nairn Beach 10Miler

Nairn Beach 10 Miler Charity Run
Join runners from across Scotland for the Nairn Beach 10 Miler, an inspiring charity run set against the stunning backdrop of Nairn's coastline. The race begins and ends on the beach between the Harbour and Sundancer, offering participants a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of this coastal town while supporting two important local causes: Team Hamish and Nairn Beach Wheelchairs.
The 10-mile course winds along the sandy shores towards Bothy and then retraces its path back. Organizers ensure that the race takes place at low tide, guaranteeing a wide expanse of soft sand for runners to enjoy. The route includes several small streams that cross the beach, adding an element of challenge and variety to the terrain.
A water station is strategically placed around the halfway mark to keep participants hydrated during their run. This event not only offers scenic views but also promotes community spirit by raising funds for local initiatives dedicated to enhancing accessibility and supporting athletes with disabilities.
