Mud Sweat and Cheers Challenge 2026

The MSC Challenge returns on December 6, promising an exciting trail run through Blackrock Park with fresh trails and challenging obstacles. This year’s race features a Post-Race Hospitality tent offering local craft beverages for those who complete the course.
Participants can choose from several heats starting at 10:00 AM, each running every twenty minutes until noon. The first heat is reserved exclusively for competitive runners over 18 years old, while subsequent heats are open to all age groups. This format allows parents and children to run together or teams of friends to race side by side.
The 5K course winds through Blackrock Park’s scenic trails in a single loop. All participants will be chip-timed with prizes awarded to the top male and female finishers. The event is designed for both competitive runners and casual athletes, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
For younger racers, there's also a Little Tykes Dash on the playing fields specifically tailored for 3-6 year olds. This fun-filled obstacle course costs $20 per child and kicks off at 10:00 AM.
To encourage team participation, special discounts are available to groups of ten or more runners. Simply email [email protected] with your team details to secure a custom coupon code for reduced registration fees.
Race day fees increase slightly compared to online registrations, so it's recommended to sign up early to ensure the best rates and guaranteed t-shirts if you register by November 29th. Beer glasses are also available as an extra perk for those aged 21 and over who pre-register by November 24th.
All proceeds from this event support Ridley United Soccer Club, making your participation not only a fun day out but also a valuable contribution to the local community.
Online registration fees vary based on age groups: $40 for adults (ages 21+), $30 for teens and young adults (ages 12-20), and $25 for kids under twelve. Race day prices are higher, so it's best to register ahead of time.
Heats will be considered sold out at twenty-five participants, ensuring a manageable number in each run group for an optimal racing experience. Don't miss the opportunity to join this festive trail running event and support your community!
