Mountain Madness Series

Experience the thrill and challenge of Northeastern mountain trails with the debut of Mountain Madness. This unique series combines four distinct trail running events across 2026, each offering varying distances to cater to all levels of runners. From steep climbs and sharp descents in Bear Mountain's Big Bear SquaTCh North on April 4th, featuring stunning cliffside views, to the rugged terrain of C'mon Armageddon in West Milford on May 17th with its boulder fields and river crossings, each race promises a distinctive challenge. In August, Climb It For Climate at Belleayre Mountain brings formidable slopes and breathtaking vistas, while the series concludes in October with an event yet to be announced but sure to offer more unforgettable mountain running.
Participants who complete all four events will earn a commemorative item celebrating their achievement. Registration is free until January 31st; after that, there's a $10 fee for signing up. Remember to register separately for each race through the respective pages as completing the series requires individual registration for every event. The Mountain Madness Series offers an unparalleled taste of the Northeast’s diverse and challenging terrain, rewarding runners with stunning views and a sense of accomplishment at every turn.
