Mission Africa's Footsteps of Faith 5K

Join the Footsteps of Faith 5K Run/Walk on February 20, 2027, and experience a morning filled with community spirit and charitable purpose at Tumbleweed Park Field 3 in Chandler, Arizona. This flat two-loop course offers runners an opportunity to set personal records while walkers can enjoy a leisurely pace through scenic park surroundings.
Registration begins at 7:30 AM on race day for those who haven't already signed up online, with the event starting promptly at 8:30 AM. After crossing the finish line, participants are invited to stay and celebrate their achievement over post-race refreshments while learning more about Mission Africa's vital work in Sapele, Nigeria.
The atmosphere is vibrant as friends gather to support a cause close to founder Victor Jakpor’s heart. The event raises funds for annual medical mission trips that provide essential healthcare services to communities living in extreme poverty. These missions offer life-changing surgeries and treatments at no cost to the patients, making a profound difference in their lives.
