Minehead Triathlon

Experience the exhilarating Minehead Sprint Triathlon on October 10, 2027, where nature meets challenge along the stunning coast of Somerset. This season finale promises an unforgettable adventure with its unique blend of open water swimming and scenic cycling.
The triathlon kicks off with a thrilling 750-meter sea swim in Porlock Bay, set against the backdrop of North Hill's dramatic cliffs. Swimmers will navigate calm waters within sight of the rugged coastline before transitioning to dry land for the bike leg.
Cyclists then tackle an undulating out-and-back route towards picturesque Porlock village, passing through Exmoor National Park’s high moorland terrain. The ride offers breathtaking views and fast stretches along winding roads that wind past rolling hills and lush greenery.
The race concludes with a 5-kilometer run combining flat seafront promenade and off-road trails in the woods of Culver Cliff. Participants will face a challenging climb known as the 'Cheeky Climb' Strava segment, adding an extra thrill before finishing on Minehead’s iconic beach.
This year's event introduces an optional medal and t-shirt purchase for those who wish to take home a memento from their achievement while keeping entry fees affordable for all participants.
