About the Event

ATLANTA- Fulton County Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman is lacing up her sneakers to join residents for the 3rd Annual Mighty 6 Cleared for Takeoff Domestic Violence Awareness 5K.

The race, which kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, will be held at the Fulton County Executive Airport located at 3977 Aviation Cir NW, Atlanta, GA 30336.

“As a domestic violence survivor this is a powerful way to bring the community together to show our support for those impacted by domestic violence,” said Commissioner Abdur-Rahman.

The Mighty 6 Cleared for Takeoff Domestic Violence Awareness 5K is Peachtree Road Race Certified.

Timeline:

Gates will open at 7:30 am for race participants
Pre-race village (7:30 AM – 8:45 AM)
- Warm-up session (8:15 AM – 8:30 AM)
Official race begins at 9 AM
The race should conclude no later than 10:30 AM
- Participants receive finisher medals/ finisher photos/ grab-&-go fuel pack

Additional Information:

Light fuel (bananas, water) will be available pre-race
Encourage racers to arrive earlier than 7:30 a.m. for parking purposes
