About the Event

On Wednesday, June 23, 2027, AWV De Kieviten presents the Midzomeravondloop, a cherished fixture on the running calendar known for its carefully selected routes and stunning natural setting within the Rottemeren area.
The event features three distinct distances:
- A youth race of 1500 meters starting at 7:00 PM.
- An impressive 10 English Mile (approximately 16 kilometers) race beginning at 7:30 PM, with a time limit of two hours for completion.
- A more accessible option is the 5-kilometer run kicking off at 7:40 PM and having a cutoff time of 45 minutes.
Online pre-registration opens up until June 22, 2027, by 8:00 PM. After this deadline, no further registrations will be accepted on race day or online.
Participants have the option to request a finisher's medal upon registration at an additional cost. This must be selected before the early bird deadline of May 1, 2027. The entry fee without the medal is €3 less than in previous years (2025 edition).
Group registrations are allowed but all participants from one group must complete their sign-up within a single session lasting no longer than 15 minutes.
The Midzomeravondloop offers runners an unforgettable evening experience, combining scenic routes through nature with well-organized support along the way.
