Midweek Chasing Numbers May 2027

Join us for the May Midweek Chasing Numbers run, a flexible and affordable way to achieve your running goals. Held from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday, May 7th, this event welcomes runners of all abilities along with walkers who want to enjoy the scenic route alongside you.
The race takes place around a beautiful stretch of the River Thames, featuring well-maintained paths and tarmac surfaces. The course is fully signed for easy navigation, making it accessible even if you're not an experienced trail runner. You can choose your own distance, from 3km to over 50km, with lap markers available at key points.
As a licensed event by the Trail Running Association under UK Athletics rules, members of affiliated clubs receive a £2 discount on entry fees. Members also enjoy guaranteed entry and a mini-medal pin for each race attended.
Upon completing your chosen distance, you'll earn an official finisher's medal. For those who run half-marathon distances or more, we offer special pins to commemorate the achievement.
After crossing the finish line, be sure to collect your goody bag filled with treats and a vegan option too. The aid station at the start/finish area offers a variety of snacks throughout the day, including savoury items, fruits, cheeses, and vegan-friendly choices.
The Last Hop pub provides toilets but no changing facilities or showers; however, you can change in the large downstairs bathroom if needed. Parking is available nearby on Bridge Street Car Park (TW18 4TP).
On race day, final instructions will be sent via email a week prior to the event and number pick-up happens at registration before your run begins.
Remember to leave any valuable items securely stowed or with friends as there's no secure bag storage area. Enjoy the flexibility of this unique running experience and make it memorable by sharing special milestones like reaching 100 runs, half-marathons, or marathons—let us know in advance for a personalized recognition at your race number.
Join fellow runners on May 7th to chase your numbers along the picturesque Thames.
