MercantourMan Xtrem Triathlon 2027

Welcome to the 2027 Mercantour Man XTREM Triathlon Full, an epic adventure that retraces its original Transcendence route from the Mediterranean coast to Embrun. This challenging triathlon takes participants through the rugged mountains of Mercantour and Ubaye, with cycling options on both paved roads and gravel paths.
The event embodies the essence of Mercantour Man: mountain terrain, exploration, self-reliance, discovery, freedom, challenge, and personal growth. Unlike mass-participation events, this triathlon maintains a limited number of entries to preserve an intimate, human experience deeply rooted in nature.
Participants will push their limits as they journey from sea level up into the mountains, crossing diverse landscapes with minimal support along the way. Upon reaching the finish line in Embrun, racers are greeted with symbolic recognition: Rudius, a wooden sword presented to all who complete this extraordinary feat of endurance and spirit.
The Mercantour Man XTREM Triathlon Full is more than just an athletic competition; it's a transformative journey through one of France’s most stunning natural environments.
