This scenic race takes place through Historic Downtown Mount Airy and along the picturesque Granite City Greenway. The event promises a flat and fast course that starts at the historic Main Street in downtown Mount Airy before heading onto the greenway trail for an out-and-back route. The half marathon begins promptly at 8:00 AM, followed by the 10K starting at 8:15 AM and the 5K kicking off just three minutes later. Participants can register early until September 27 to secure lower rates with fees ranging from $35 for a youth entry under 18 in any distance up to $65 for adult half marathon runners. Official dri-fit performance race shirts are guaranteed if registered by October 25, but will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the event.
