The Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 Mile Run (MMT) is a premier East Coast ultra-marathon held in the George Washington National Forest of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. Scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 5:00 AM, the race is a grueling test of endurance over exceptionally rocky and technical terrain. Organized by the Virginia Happy Trails Running Club (VHTRC), the MMT is famous for its "Virginia technical" trails, which feature relentless boulders and steep ridges.

The MMT is widely considered one of the most difficult 100-milers in the United States, primarily due to the nature of the ground surface rather than just the vertical gain.
