On July 4, 2027, the vibrant streets of Londrina and Cambé will come alive with the energy of thousands of runners as they take part in the Maratona de Londrina. The race offers four distances: a full marathon (42km), half marathon (21km), 10k run, and a shorter 5k option for those looking to experience the excitement without committing to longer races. Elite athletes will lead off at 5:00 AM, followed by other marathon runners just twenty minutes later. Half-marathoners begin their journey shortly after sunrise at 5:20 AM, while participants in the 10k and 5k events start a bit later based on their categories and abilities. The race is expected to draw up to 6,500 enthusiastic competitors from all over Brazil and beyond. The scenic course winds through picturesque neighborhoods of Londrina and Cambé, offering runners stunning views of lush greenery and vibrant cityscapes along the way. As they cross the finish line, participants will receive a medal commemorating their achievement alongside digital certificates and branded merchandise. Registration fees vary depending on when athletes sign up for the event, with early bird discounts available until November 15th for all distances except marathon runners who have an additional window to register at reduced rates through May. The standard kit includes a high-quality race shirt, timing chip, finisher medal upon completion, and digital certification. This year's Maratona de Londrina promises not only challenging courses but also a memorable experience filled with local culture, warm hospitality from the community, and an electric atmosphere that celebrates athletic achievement on Independence Day.
