Marathon de la Vézère

On April 11, 2027, runners will converge on the picturesque region of southwestern France for an unforgettable marathon and relay experience. The race begins at Saint-Pantaléon with a ceremonious start at 8:15 AM from the town's bustling gymnasium where participants can collect their bibs starting from 6:30 AM.
The full marathon route winds through charming countryside, taking runners on a scenic journey across several quaint towns including Varetz and Allassac. The course features rolling hills that offer breathtaking views of vineyards and lush forests before reaching the halfway mark at Objat where the relay teams will pass their batons.
For those looking for a shorter challenge, there's also a semi-marathon starting in Objat at 8:30 AM with bib collection available from 7:00 AM onwards. This race follows much of the marathon route but returns to Saint-Pantaléon without passing through Allassac.
Both events are known for their supportive community atmosphere and scenic beauty, making them a must-participate event for runners who appreciate both competition and camaraderie in stunning natural settings.
The day promises not only physical challenge but also cultural immersion as participants experience the warmth of local communities along the way.
