About the Event

On December 26, 2026, lace up your running shoes for the 39th Annual Make It to the Line Run/Walk and Fun Run. This beloved tradition honors Pat McClellan's vision of fitness starting right after Christmas with friends and neighbors. The event offers both a challenging 4-mile run/walk course through scenic Perdido Key and a fun-filled 1-mile walk for all ages.
The race kicks off at the Flora-Bama, where packet pickup takes place on race day from 6:30 to 8:30 AM in the tent. Participants will enjoy age group awards as well as special prizes for overall male and female runners/walkers. The first 600 finishers receive a medal, and shirts are provided to early registrants.
Post-race festivities include a breakfast buffet at the Flora-Bama with complimentary draft beers for those over 21. This event not only promotes health but also supports local families through proceeds benefiting the Perdido Key Secret Santa program. Join us as we carry forward Pat's legacy of community, fitness, and giving back.
The race starts promptly at 9:00 AM on December 26, offering a scenic course that winds past picturesque views along the Gulf Coast. Whether you're aiming for personal bests or simply enjoying the holiday spirit with family and friends, Make It to the Line is an event not to be missed.
