About the Event

The Lumberjack race returns on April 17, 2027, offering runners an unforgettable adventure through the scenic Uplands of Port Gamble. This year marks the 16th edition and introduces a brand-new 50K distance to the weekend lineup. The course is a challenging mix of single-track trails and dirt roads, with each loop covering approximately 12.5 miles and featuring around 1350 feet of elevation gain.
Competitors will be treated to two fully stocked aid stations per loop, ensuring they have access to hot food, Tailwind, vegan options, and gluten-free choices throughout the night. The race also features massage therapists and a reflexologist at the start/finish area for recovery support. All participants receive a soft sweatshirt, a custom race cup with the Lumberjack logo, and additional swag upon entry.
The event offers various distances including 50K, 100K, and 100 miles, each with its own unique challenges and rewards. Finishers will be awarded beautiful custom medals or buckles crafted by local artists in Poulsbo, while top three finishers receive special recognition for their achievements.
Camping is available on Friday night at the Uplands, though there's now a $20 fee due to new regulations set forth by Raydient. The nearby town offers basic amenities like grocery stores and accommodations within walking distance of the start/finish area.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying the camaraderie among fellow runners, the Lumberjack race promises an engaging experience with stunning scenery and supportive community vibes.
Join us in Port Gamble to celebrate another year of endurance running amidst nature's beauty.
