The half marathon course takes you around Copenhagen Airport for a thrilling journey past jet engines and industrial landscapes. Alternatively, enjoy the scenic beauty of Amager Strand with either a 10 km run or a leisurely 5 km powerwalk.
The event starts at Motionsklubben Amager on Amager Strandvej 341, where participants will gather to begin their adventure. The half marathon begins promptly at 10:00 AM, followed by the 10 km race at 10:15 AM and the powerwalk at 10:30 AM.
Runners on the half marathon course can look forward to two water stations strategically placed along the route for hydration. The 10 km runners will encounter one station halfway through their run, ensuring they stay hydrated throughout. Fresh fruit is available in all finish areas, and participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or purchase one at the event.
All competitors who complete any of these distances receive a medal as recognition of their achievement. There are also prizes for the top three male and female runners in both the half marathon and 10 km races. Additionally, there will be raffle prizes up for grabs throughout the day.
Participants can pick up their race numbers at Motionsklubben Amager on November 4th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM or on November 6th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to help collect these essential items.
