Lufthavnen Rundt 2026

Experience the joy of running along Amager Strand as Motionsklubben Amager hosts its beloved annual winter race on November 1, 2026. Choose from three distances: conquer the Half Marathon (21.095 km) around Copenhagen Airport, sprint through the scenic 10 km route along Amager Beach, or enjoy a leisurely powerwalk over 5 kilometers in Strandparken.
The event kicks off at 10:00 AM with the Half Marathon starting line-up, followed by the 10 km race at 10:15 AM and the 5 km walk at 10:30 AM. Participants will enjoy water stations along both routes, providing hydration throughout their run or powerwalk.
Medals are awarded to all who complete any of the three distances, while top male and female finishers in each category receive special prizes through a lottery draw. A warm-up area with bag storage is available for participants on race day, though at your own risk.
The course features picturesque views of Copenhagen Airport's vast landscape and Amager Beach’s serene shoreline, offering runners an unforgettable blend of urban and coastal scenery. Don't forget to bring your reusable water cup or pick one up from the organizers; it will be essential along the route.
For race day logistics, visit Motionsklubben Amager at Amager Strandvej 341 between October 29th (from 5:30 PM) and October 31st (until 2:00 PM) to collect your starting number. Bragging rights await for those who cross the finish line, with photos from the event uploaded to Motionsklubben Amager's Facebook page.
Enjoy a day of running amidst autumn’s crisp air at this charming Danish race that caters to runners and walkers alike seeking a scenic and welcoming atmosphere.
