Taastrup Løbet nr. 616

Taastrup Løbet, now in its 616th edition since its inception in 1975, invites runners to experience the seamless flat terrain of Taastrup. The route is primarily asphalt with a brief but scenic stretch of gravel on the 10 km course that offers a unique challenge and an opportunity for personal best times. Participants can choose from three distances: 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km, each offering distinct challenges and rewards.
Registration fees are DKK 60 for both the 5 and 10 km routes, while entry to the shorter 2 km route costs just DKK 30. Members of TIK Løberne enjoy free participation across all distances. During registration, runners who do not have their own race tags can borrow one at no cost; however, chips must be returned post-race or a fee of DKK 100 will apply.
The event emphasizes precise timing with strict guidelines: the chip must be attached to the shoe and below ankle height for accurate results. Time limits are set at 45 minutes for the 5 km race and an hour and fifteen minutes for the 10 km distance, ensuring a manageable pace for all participants regardless of experience level.
Taastrup Løbet is more than just a run; it's a community event that celebrates its rich history with every step taken on this familiar yet inviting course.
