Louth Coastal Tour 2026
About the event
Join us on November 8, 2026, for the 15th edition of the Louth Coastal Tour, organized by Drogheda Wheelers. This annual cycling event celebrates community support and raises funds for Donore National School and St John Ambulance.
Riders can choose between a long route of approximately 80–90km or a shorter option of 45–55km. Both routes offer scenic coastal views and are designed to be enjoyable, with an average speed control of around 25-28 km/h. The event features lead cars, moto-marshals, and medical support throughout the ride.
After completing your chosen route, head back to Donore National School for refreshments and a chance to catch up with fellow cyclists in this welcoming community setting. Entry fees are €20 for adults and €10 for youth under 16 years old.
Can't make it on the day? You can still support these vital organizations through our dedicated donation page, where every contribution helps sustain their valuable work within the local community.
For more information or to register, visit Drogheda Wheelers' official website. See you at the Louth Coastal Tour!

About Ireland
Learn more about the host city, Ireland.
Ireland, also known as the Republic of Ireland, has a rich culture that, along with its people, has been exported around the world. Some Irish history has been very dark indeed, but it remains a land of poets, story-tellers, and musicians, with marvellous scenery, an advanced knowledge economy, first-rate infrastructure, and leading industries, with a high gross domestic product and standard of living. Ireland has historically been referred to as ‘The Land of Saints and Scholars’, reflecting its long standing religious affinities as well as its many contributions to the fields of poetry and literature.
