Fairytale in Westmeath 200/100-2026

On December 6, 2026, cyclists from around the world will converge for an epic Audax challenge at two distances: 100km and 200km. This grueling yet rewarding ride offers a deep dive into Ireland's scenic landscapes and cycling culture.
The shorter route takes participants on a carefully crafted course that winds through charming Irish countryside, featuring rolling hills, quiet country roads, and picturesque villages. Cyclists will experience the authentic rhythm of rural Ireland as they pedal past lush green fields and historic landmarks.
For those seeking an even greater challenge, the 200km option pushes endurance to its limits with a more demanding route that includes steeper climbs and longer stretches between towns. This journey showcases some of Ireland's most breathtaking scenery, from rugged coastlines to serene forests and rolling hillsides.
Both routes are designed for experienced Audax riders who understand the unique demands of these long-distance rides. Cyclists should come prepared with all necessary equipment and a thorough understanding of the Audax philosophy before tackling either distance on this challenging yet rewarding day in December.
Participants will find camaraderie among fellow cyclists as they share stories, tips, and encouragement throughout their journey across Ireland's diverse terrain.
