MyXTRI Greek Hero Shadow Edition
Do it your way.
Race #12 in the 2026 MyXTRI Shadow World Tour
Please note that you cannot submit your trace files from the real world Greek Hero XTRI race to earn Shadow points. You must do one or the other.
Race Description
You cannot fake ancient roads.
But you can find your own heroism.
Not everyone can stand on the start line in Greece and watching your friends tackle the real Greek Hero XTRI could hurt a little.
Now you can take it on your way, anywhere, in the form of the MyXTRI Shadow World Tour.
The Greek Hero Shadow Edition is your chance to create your own Xtreme triathlon, outside or virtually, inspired by heat, history, rugged terrain and relentless endurance.
Finish, and you could earn up to 25 X-Points toward your global ranking.

Choose Your Shadow Option
Cannot do the full distance? No problem.
Step down, not back, with our tiered versions:
Shadow Xtreme 3.9km Swim | 176km Bike | 40km Run
Shadow .8 3.1km Swim | 141km Bike | 32km Run
Shadow .6 2.3km Swim | 106km Bike | 24km Run
Please note you must complete the distance you select. Over reporting brings no extra benefit, and under reporting is not treated as a shorter distance. For example, if you enter the Shadow .8, you must complete the full .8 distance.
Elevation Goals
Encouraged but not compulsory:
Shadow Xtreme 2400m Cycle Ascent | 1500m Run Ascent
Shadow .8 1920m Cycle Ascent | 1200m Run Ascent
Shadow .6 1440m Cycle Ascent | 900m Run Ascent

Finish Midnight (your local time), same day.

Race Format and Rules
Format
Swim, Bike, Run, ideally in that order, but if you need to adjust for daylight or logistics, you may do so.
You are welcome to split your disciplines. For example, you can complete 50 percent of your cycle first and the remaining 50 percent after your run.
All segments must be completed within 24 hours (midnight to midnight).
Breaks are permitted.
Terrain
Outdoor racing is encouraged, ideally with open water swim, road or trail run, and road cycling.
You may also race on gravel or MTB.
Indoor alternatives are allowed, such as bike trainer, pool or treadmill.
You can also be creative should local conditions dictate that this is impossible (too much snow for example).
Distance and Verification
All distances must be completed in full. Partial distances will not be accepted.
Use GPS tracking such as Strava, Garmin or similar.
Submit proof of distance by uploading your activity link on RaceID.
Upload one photo or video from your challenge via our Digital Dojo (link coming soon).
Result Submission
Report results to RaceID via your profile (Click here to see how to log your result).
Keep your Strava or Garmin profile public for verification.
Once you sign up, you will be added to all start lists for the three segments.
You can log your result for each segment from October 10th to October 12th (CEST time).
