Les Pieds dans l'Buru

Immerse yourself in the heart of Mayenne during the Trail Les Pieds dans l'Buru, scheduled to take place on February 20, 2027. Nestled within the Pays de la Loire region, this unique event promises a blend of natural beauty and thrilling challenges.
The trail winds through lush forest landscapes where you might encounter wildlife such as deer or even llamas along the way. Participants can choose from various courses catering to different levels of experience and endurance:
- The Ultime Time Master (7.6 km) invites ultra-trail runners to complete timed loops in under an hour, pushing their limits with multiple attempts.

- For those seeking a shorter yet intense challenge, the Australian-style race (1.52 km) features eliminations after each lap until only one runner remains.
- The 15-kilometer Trail Chrono offers a scenic route that tests your endurance in the beautiful outdoors.
Family-friendly options include Nordic walks of 8 km and 16 km, ensuring there's something for everyone. Additionally, children can participate in a special race designed to introduce them to trail running.
The event also supports the "Graines d'Enfants" association, which aims to promote freedom of speech and information on infertility issues through egg and sperm donation.
After your run, explore nearby attractions such as Laval's historic Château de Laval or the captivating Saulges caves. For a more relaxed day out, visit the Refuge de l'Arche in Château-Gontier where you can meet rescued animals. Couples might enjoy a romantic stroll along the Mayenne river towpath.
