About the Event

Run for a good cause at the 29th edition of "Foulées de la Gournerie" on September 20, 2026. Organized by UFCPH's "Le Plaisir de Courir," this event takes place in the scenic Parc de La Gournerie in Saint-Herblain. This year marks another step forward in our commitment to eco-responsibility and continues our partnership with AOPA, an association dedicated to supporting children undergoing cancer treatment at CHU Nantes and Angers.
Participants can choose between a 6 km run or a challenging 12 km course through the park's lush greenery. For every dossard sold for these distances, €4 will be donated directly to support AOPA’s vital work with young patients.
Registration opens early: FFA license holders on June 15th and non-licensed participants from June 29th onwards. No day-of registration is available.
The event offers a full morning of activities:
07:30 - Dossard distribution begins
08:30 - Last minute dossards for the 6 km race
08:55 - Warm-up session led by Orange Bleue for the 6 km runners
09:00 - Start of the 6 km run and a separate free-walk event at 5 km follows shortly after.
09:45 - Last minute dossards distribution for the 12 km race
10:15 - Warm-up session led by Orange Bleue before the start of the longer course
11:30 - Awards ceremony for both races
The afternoon features shorter fun runs and a chance to cheer on young competitors:
12:00 - Start of the 1km run for toddlers (born in 2018-2020)
12:15 - Start of the 1 km race for slightly older children (born in 2016-2017)
12:30 - Kick-off of a 2km event for kids aged between 2012 and 2015
12:45 - Awards ceremony for all junior races
