Les Foulées Iodées d'an arvor

On March 29, 2027, the third edition of Les Foulees Iodees will take place in Larmor Plage, offering runners two exciting race options: an 8 km course and a more challenging 15 km route. Both races start from the stade de Larmor and wind through some of Brittany's most stunning coastal scenery.
The event is organized by Larmor Estran Athlétisme, promising participants a refreshing dose of sea air as they explore An Arvor’s beautiful landscapes. Runners will begin their journey along the coast with views of Groix Island in sight, followed by stretches on sandy beaches and glimpses of Port-Louis and the rade de Lorient.
After these picturesque segments, runners transition onto quieter roads before venturing into natural trails where they can admire the tranquil Etang du Ter and its lush forest. Be prepared for some challenging ascents along the way as you navigate through varied terrain.
The race concludes with a return to civilization via the scenic voie verte back to the stade de Larmor, ensuring that participants are left in awe of their surroundings after completing this memorable run.
Registration is limited to 500 runners for the longer course and 300 for the shorter one. Each participant will receive a gift upon registration with no on-site sign-ups allowed. In addition to these perks, there’s also a chance to win prizes through a raffle held at the end of each race.
For those interested in bringing their kids along, Les Foulees Iodees organizes children's races around the stade de Larmor during the adult events. These fun runs cater to different age groups and distances: 640 meters for toddlers born in 2018-2019; 940 meters for those born in 2016-2017; 1,260 meters for children aged 2014-2015; and a 1,600-meter race for pre-teens born in 2012-2013. All these races start between 9:00 am and 9:20 am.
Participants must ensure they have valid FFA (Fédération Française d'Athlétisme) licenses or complete a PPS health screening if applicable, as mandated by the organizers. For minors participating in any of the children's events, their legal guardians are required to fill out specific forms provided by Larmor Estran Athlétisme.
