LE TRAIL DU TREVEZEL

Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty and rich history of Trèves on April 24, 2027, as you tackle one of three trail races that weave through UNESCO World Heritage sites. Each course offers unique challenges and breathtaking vistas, from steep ascents to dramatic descents along ancient troglodyte habitats.
The longest route, Roche et Vertige (25 km), starts in Trèves at 570 meters above sea level with a village lap before climbing the Rocher du Regard for panoramic views. The trail then follows a cliffside path overlooking the Gorges du Trévezel and leads to Espinassous, where you'll encounter an old chateau and traverse the Causse Noir.
A shorter but equally challenging option is La Verticale du Regard (17 km), which also begins in Trèves with its historic Pont Vieux. This course includes a steep ascent up Rocher du Regard followed by a technical descent back to town, featuring the iconic Grotte Saint Firmin passage.
For those seeking an intense vertical challenge without the distance, Le parcours des Échelles de Saint Firmin (4 km) offers 400 meters of elevation gain and loss. This route starts with the thrilling traverse through the ancient grotto before ascending to Canayère Plateau for sweeping views over Trèves.
Each race culminates in a festive meal and prize ceremony, celebrating your achievement amidst an enthusiastic community of trail runners and volunteers dedicated to preserving this unique landscape.
