LE SURVIV'ORNE 2027

The 14th edition of the Surviv'Orne Triathlon, organized by Triathlon Flers – La Ferté Macé and sanctioned by the French Federation of Triathlon (FFTRI), invites athletes to experience a weekend of sport, community spirit, and environmental commitment. Set against the backdrop of La Ferté-Macé's tranquil lakeside base, this event transforms into an energetic hub for triathletes from across France and beyond on June 26-27, 2027.
The Surviv'Orne is renowned not just for its competitive spirit but also for the warmth and camaraderie it fosters. Nearly 200 volunteers, including club members, families, and local residents, bring an infectious sense of Normandy hospitality to every aspect of the event. From setting up transition zones to manning aid stations with a blend of enthusiasm and good humor, these unsung heroes ensure that participants are well-supported throughout their races.
The weekend kicks off on Saturday with shorter formats designed for young athletes and newcomers, featuring duathlon events (running and cycling) where road bikes give way to mountain bikes. The following day, the focus shifts to more challenging distances suitable for experienced triathletes who compete using road or gravel bicycles in individual and relay teams.
Beyond its sporting credentials, Surviv'Orne is committed to sustainability and inclusivity. Efforts include minimizing environmental impact by avoiding unnecessary waste such as single-use plastics and disposable cutlery. Local produce features prominently at the buffet-style meals provided for athletes and volunteers alike, emphasizing a community-driven approach that extends beyond competition.
With its strong emphasis on accessibility and equal opportunities, Surviv'Orne welcomes all participants, including those with disabilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy this remarkable event in La Ferté-Macé.
