Le DÉFI 47, la cyclosportive du Lot-et-Garonne.

Bike enthusiasts, competitive spirits, and leisurely riders are invited to Villeneuve-sur-Lot on April 11, 2027 for the 10th edition of the Défi 47. Hosted by hometown hero Pierrick Fédrigo, this event has become a spring cycling staple in southwestern France. More than just a race, it’s a celebration of bicycles and local culture, offering cyclists stunning views of rolling hills and charming bastides.
Four distinct courses cater to every level: the Granfondo #130 for serious competitors covering 133 kilometers with over 1500 meters of elevation gain; the Cyclo #80, a dynamic route at 86 kilometers with 1000 meters of climbing; the Rando #47, a family-friendly ride spanning 45 kilometers and 500 meters of ascent for those seeking leisurely enjoyment; and the Famille #30, an easygoing circuit over 28 kilometers and 250 meters elevation designed for beginners and families.
Participants can expect well-marked routes with signalers at intersections, medical assistance along the way, and generous refreshment points. Each cyclist will receive a welcome pack featuring local delicacies like strawberries, prunes, and walnuts as well as partner gifts such as water bottles and guides.
Registration fees vary depending on early sign-up: Granfondo #130 & Cyclo #80 range from €24 to €45; Rando #47 costs a flat fee of €15 (€16 at the venue); and Famille #30 is just €9 for adults, free for those under 13. A post-race meal awaits all participants who wish to extend their convivial experience.
